2022 Play Ball! Minnesota Free Youth Clinics - North Minneapolis, MN @North High Football Field
The summer of 2022 will be the 61st season the Minnesota Twins, Twins Community Fund and Play Ball! Minnesota, in partnership with Great River Energy, will offer free youth baseball and softball clinics. The Play Ball! Minnesota North Minneapolis Youth Clinics is designed to teach baseball/softball fundamentals including hitting, throwing, and fielding - but mainly, to spread the joy and fun of baseball and softball.
The goal of this clinic during Play Ball! Weekend is to inspire North Minneapolis students to experience the joy and fun of SPORTS! The Twins will be accompanied by Minnesota Youth Athletic services (MYAS), the US Tennis Association- Northern (USTA), and other local organizations to show that the skills learned in baseball and softball can be used in other sports... and, it's fun to play!
Bring your glove if you have one. If you don't, that's okay, too! This clinic will be held on the North High School Football Field. The clinic will begin after school at 4:30pm and end at 6:00pm.
In-person offerings will only proceed if permitted by and in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state and/or local public health guidelines and applicable laws . Please note camper request are not guaranteed. Consistent with the local state guidelines/laws, the event(s) might be cancelled, postponed or modified, in whole or in part, if required or recommended pursuant to public health requirements or recommendations.
